Terms of Service

1. Provider and acceptance

The services are provided by Bonframe Technology Limited (trading as Bonframe), with its principal place of business at Unit B53, 2F, Kwai Shing Industrial Building Phase 1, 36-40 Tai Lin Pai Road, Kwai Chung, Hong Kong. By downloading, purchasing, activating, or using Bonframe, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you are contracting with Bonframe Technology Limited.

If you use Bonframe for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. Continued use of the website or software constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

2. Product and license

Bonframe is local-first video intelligence software for semantic editing and reviewable redaction workflows. Features may vary by operating system, license, model pack, and deployment mode.

A purchase grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software under the purchased plan and seat count. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), bypass license controls, or use the software unlawfully.

Bonframe and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the software, documentation, models we supply, branding, and related materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that IP to you.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website or software, including: unlawful use; fraud, spam, or deceptive practices; infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights; uploading malware; probing, scraping, or interfering with security or availability; or attempting to circumvent billing, licensing, or access controls.

You retain ownership of media and instructions you provide and are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to process that media. AI and rule-based results can be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review edits and redactions before publishing, sharing, or relying on an exported file. Bonframe does not replace legal, compliance, medical, or professional judgment.

4. Payments, renewals, and Merchant of Record

Prices, billing periods, included seats, maintenance, and deliverables are shown on the pricing and checkout pages.

For eligible card and certain online purchases, Polar Software, Inc. (Polar) acts as Merchant of Record. Polar handles payment collection, applicable taxes, receipts, and buyer payment support under the Polar Checkout Buyer Terms. For those transactions, your payment contract for the purchase is with Polar as Merchant of Record, while the software license and product relationship remain with Bonframe Technology Limited.

Business card, invoice, purchase-order, and bank-transfer purchases may be processed by Airwallex as payment service provider. Invoice details and receipts follow what is shown at checkout.

Perpetual licenses cover the purchased major version as described at checkout. Optional maintenance or subscriptions renew only according to the terms displayed before purchase. License credentials and download access are delivered electronically.

5. Availability, suspension, and termination

We may update the software to improve security, compatibility, models, and features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance of optional online services, or compatibility with every device, codec, model, or third-party service.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, chargeback misuse, unlawful use, or repeated or serious policy violations. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

6. Warranty and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the software is provided “as is” and “as available.” Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bonframe Technology Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for decisions made without reviewing generated edits or reded.
